Day 1 Seattle (Tacoma)

Arrived in Seattle just before noon after a smooth flight from Heathrow. Took a taxi to our hotel some 20 miles away in Tacoma - a seaport town on the outskirts of Seattle.  Room comfy but decided to go for a walk into town to stretch the legs.

1.5 miles later we finally got to downtown Tacoma and the welcome sight of a brewery brasserie for a gourmet snack (a burger you could just about see over) and some delicious real ale stout and IPA. some snaps below:
